As I’m working on a new book in 2011 I am not taking on as many events as I usually do. I will be doing more intensive cooking classes at Rancho La Puerta and those dates, as they are decided, will be posted on their web site as well as mine.

Harvest Weekend Festival at Albuquerque Biopark.
I will be given a short demonstration and talk on the alliance of the garden and the kitchen at the Heritage Farm in the Biopark, at 4:00. There will be other presenters as well, including the chef of the Biopark restaurant.
The Biopark is located at 2601 Central Avenue, Northwest.

Quivara Coalition Annual Conference, Albuquerque.
The theme of this 10th-anniversary conference is New Agrarians: How the Next Generation of Leaders Tackle 21st Century Challenges. I will be starting off this discussion on the morning of the 9th. Bill McKibben and Bill deBuys will be speaking on climate change the 10th. This promises to be an exceptionally vital and relevant conference.
